I think Total Eclipse of the Heart might be one of my earliest music memories, I remember being 5/6 and singing along so hard to the radio that I accidentally broke a vase (with my flailing hands not my voice). RIP to a legend.
So sad to hear that – I lover her husky voice and her persona. May she rest in peace.

I know she had other songs but Total Eclipse of the Heart is a once in a lifetime song truly, the drama, the vibe, her husky “unusual” voice, just legendary. RIP.
Celebrity deaths this year have just been one after another. Ugh. RIP Bonnie Tyler, I really thought she’d beat the odds and make it after it was reported she came out of her coma.
Immediately went to listen to “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” after this, so sad to hear. 😞
