Cristina Sanz, star of A&E’s ‘Born This Way,’ has died at 35 years old. The reality star’s parents shared the news on Instagram, saying she died after going into cardiac arrest and her death was a ‘shock and unexpected.’ Cristina starred on all four seasons of the series, which followed the lives of a group of adults with Down Syndrome.

My heart goes out to her family who helped her grow into such a lovely person, especially her mom. May God help them overcome such a great loss.
I liked being around her, but I could never really understand her that much. I just grinned and acted like I understood what she was talking about — when she talked to me. I just smiled & nodded.
