I was a hardcore Larry once. Came to it late, was convinced about everything including the fake baby theory.

Then I started back on anti psychotic meds and pretty much instantly stopped believing in any of it.

I’m genuinely surprised that Larry Stylinson still exists in 2026. They’ve both denied it multiple times. Louis especially has been very vocal about his dislike of the ship. They’re both in relationships with women. And yet there are still fans that believe they’re secretly married and every public relationship is a PR stunt and all of their songs are about each other. It was weird in 2013 and it’s weirder now, especially because the shippers don’t have the excuse of being 12 and chronically online anymore.

He’s stated for years how uncomfortable the shipping made him and yet they still do this like at this point you’re harassing a man you claim to love. Grow the hell up man

genuinely no clue how larries continue to proudly harass this man that hates them and not feel shame

People are so weird and parasocial. Why go to the gig if you’re just gonna harass the artist? Sucks, because Louis seems like a nice bloke and down to earth, and Harry might be the most successful one, but why do this???

Even without the lore, this would read like, ‘Harry is more successful than you’, which is true, but rude to say.

    7. I would’ve had security kick the person out of the show. The fact that Larries are still harassing the guys about this is disturbing, and they need professional help.

I need to know the mindset of people who claim to be fans but keep harassing him over this. Like, how do they justify it? I’m too medicated to understand

still? in the big 2026? we’re not in middle school anymore yall, leave them alone

A friend of mine became a Larry during the pandemic. Wasn’t even a 1D fan, just liked Harry’s solo music. It was a huge reason I stepped back from the friendship, since she projected it into other conversations about Harry (an interest we shared). She is in her 40s.

    11. I hate this so much and I’m glad Louis called them out. I went to the Minneapolis show where someone held up Louis and Harry dolls, having them kiss and pissed him off. It’s time to grow up.

I’m going to the Boston show Tuesday night, I hope no one is this stupid.

Sometimes I feel really bad about myself and where I am at in life, but then I remember Larry’s still exist in the year 2026, and my life doesn’t seem that bad

    13. let’s say larry ever was a thing — well it sure as hell isn’t now. because like many others (markiplier and jack septic eye, seems like those heated rivalry guys are going through it now too, etc etc) the sheer level of hyper surveillance from fans put their friendship in such an uncomfortable place that they became distant, whether on purpose or unintentionally. for goodness sake, dan and phil kept their relationship private for over a decade and still haven’t even kissed publicly because of how uncomfortable fans made them (i guess that’s just my theory, they haven’t explicitly said as much). people have been dogging on harry for years now over “queer baiting” but in my opinion the reason he’s obscured his sexuality is because of this — because how can men be expected to explore any kind of close friendship with another man, let alone actual queerness in a world where unhinged people like this fetishise and sensationalise them to such an extent??

edit for MORE yap: as a queer person myself i think back on the retrospectively queer moments i had with other friends years before i was “out”. then i imagine if hundreds of people had filmed all those precious little moments and dissected them before i even had the chance to name my identity and own it myself. it makes me feel quite ill. this kind of behaviour would force some people deep into the closet for the rest of their life. these shippers are actual freaks lol

Shipping Etiquette 101 is “don’t mention anything about the fandom to the actors or writers”, fictional or RPF. So no asking to sign character ship art, ask about possibility of ship being canon, etc. I’m not knowledgeable about RPF but I’d think that like, everyone would know to not do that.

Shipping real people is gross. Especially when they think it’s ok to mention it to said people. Grow up 😤
