In the end, all the Dunphy kids moved out. #Comedy #Shorts #clips

Claire is fed up with the overcrowded, filthy house where strange gunk even builds up in the kitchen sink, so she orders Haley, Alex and Luke that one of them has to move out. Each child comes up with excuses to avoid leaving, and Luke even pretends he can’t bear to be apart from his best friend to dodge the task.

Phil and Claire grow sentimental in private, dreading the family drifting apart once the kids move away. Claire admits all she wants is to stay in their own home with all her children. Soon after, Alex comes home and announces her research team is being transferred to Switzerland with housing fully covered by the company, which perfectly solves her housing dilemma. Right after that, Haley and Dylan volunteer to move out too; Dylan earns extra cash by participating in clinical trials to afford a small apartment, though they once miscalculated their savings and mistakenly thought they had a million dollars. Finally, Luke shares his great news that he’s been accepted to the University of Oregon and will leave for college.

All three kids confirm they’re moving out, leaving Phil and Claire filled with a mix of pride and sorrow. The whole family sighs that their years of warm daily life under one roof are about to change.

    1. The moment you ask your kids to move out is the moment you can stop expecting to see them other than on special occassions. My mom never kicked me out per se but she did say "if you don't like the way things are around here you can leave", mind you I was the only employed person in my house, and that was the "way things were", my dad was sick, my mom spent all her time taking care of him and my two older brothers would just have some meaningless gigs here and there but mostly would play video games all day. I was out of the house and living in an entirely different part of the country by the following week and I never looked back. Years later she told me that she immideately regretted telling me that because she knew I don't do empty threats and I would just leave and not come back, which is exactly what happenned.

    2. I wanted a house where my son could live at home into adulthood. I wanted to buy a house with an attached apartment, rent it out while he was a kid, then he could "rent" it as an adult. Life didnt work that way. My house is so dreadfully quiet.

    3. WTH western parents kick their children out, i dont get this…?? who is going to take care of your parents when they get old? here on Pakistan, India almost all of south asia, we Don't leave them till their final breath. they spend their whole life taking care of us, we cant imagine leaving when they needed us the most

    4. Sometimes the quiet is too loud and it gets depressing and lonely and sad and boring! Be careful what you wish for! Cause then you'll regret it!
