I don't like Ashia BUT:
1. For someone who was raised to be submissive to a man, Maxwell's sister sure is trying too much to control who her brother is going to marry (shouldn't Maxwell as a man have that final say?).
2. Ashia and Maxwell come from two different worlds. His family expects her to be a 'yes Sir woman' to everything he tells her while she grew up in a place where men and women are meant to be equal, why is she so dead set on marrying him is beyond my comprehension. This is a disaster in a making.

I haven't watched the season yet, just clips – but they look the same age. She looks great. I understand what the sister is talking about, but her brother is a grown man. He knew her age. I am surprised he is dating an older woman because yes, in our culture, it is rare. But it def happens.

😂😂 we all know a lot of African women are jealous of American women so I’m not surprised they didn’t accept her plus she’s a black American woman, but I guarantee that she was a light of shade. They would’ve approved. Lots of Africans are very colorism.
