I don’t go here (Heated Rivalry fandom) but he said they followed him to his residence, he wasn’t mad enough imo.
I know he can afford it, but I will gladly buy him a better lighter to aid him in this endeavor.

Good! It’s such a toxic little industry that these people get to harass celebs to make money (his signed books are going for high hundreds on eBay) and if a celeb is not perfectly gracious oh well they get to sell the freakout to backgrid and make money anyway.

They were also taunting him in French, laughing at how upset he was, and telling him to leave their country.
Weirdly this happens a TON in France. I am not famous in the least and even I was hounded AT THE AIRPORT by autograph seekers because of a show I worked on. They aren’t fans, they’re weird autograph scalpers trying to earn a buck, and they get insider information from high up in France. Very odd.

This is a great advert for wind proof lighters because that lighter wasn’t good enough to get the job done.
As he should, these people are leeches and are not fans at all.
I remember being in one fandom and there was a prominent dealer on social media that was leaking actors’ vacation details. They had access to flight information and would be at the airport every single time they arrived back to film. So creepy.
Those specific individuals are so evil. They’ve hounded Dua Lipa in Paris too I believe. It’s not right, especially when he’s not even at an event, he’s literally with his family and friends just trying to exist
Hudson has spoken about finding fame difficult before. It sucks seeing moments like this where he’s clearly distressed but trying to remain relatively calm. He’s been mobbed by fans and paps before, but was still nice to them. This is different, as these autograph dealers are aggressive and will follow celebs all day. There’s only so much taunting someone can take

Hudson has not even been famous for not even 12 months, yet he really has been going through the good, the bad, and damn right UGLY of fame at hyperspeed.
His dreams have come true, he’s a major cinephile. But he never expected to become a global superstar. He is definitely someone that’s very good at being famous, but from the super awful racism he receives online, the stalking into his past espeically as a minor which includes stalking his high school peers, the way that certain “fans” try to disparage his character when he brings his long-term girlfriend to events because it threatens their “ship” of Hudson and Connor, also ruining their ability to be publicly affectionate towards each other as best friends, or “solo” fans of Connor who thinks Hudson gets too much attention even though they are literal best friends, and now THIS.
All of this because he’s talented, lovely, hot, and successful and every person that meets him says he’s the best person ever.
I think about of people don’t understand these aren’t just paparazzi, but ragebaiters who try and get them to sign autographs to sell online gor profit. They do this with A LOT of celebrities. I have seen people really turning their tune on Chappell, Dua and Callum, Jennie etc as they are now understanding what is happening and not just an average consequence of being famous.

One of the most frustrating things is an empty “sorry” from someone you know doesn’t mean it and won’t stop doing the thing they are pretending to apologize for.

This reminds me of a video Joseph Gordon-Levitt posted like 15+ years ago where he started filming two paparazi that were following him all night and he got them to admit that they were hoping to get photos of him and his guy friend having dinner so they could sell them to tabloids and imply that he was gay. It’s so vile, I can’t imagine why anyone would do this job.

Celebs who aren’t even super famous have talked about scalpers showing up with stacks for them to autograph in the secure gates of the airport. These creeps know your travel schedule and are willing to buy a plane ticket and go through TSA just to see you. That alone would terrify me.

He makes a good point and good on him but watching him repeatedly fail to burn those photos with that tiny lighter after it didn’t work the first time is actually kind of funny.
