Nolan is the most overrated film maker of the last 20 years.
His shit gets so hyped and then it’s such a boring letdown of movie making.
Oppenheimer as just one example is a joke and frankly put to shame by the PBS documentary about the man and the project.
I haven’t been excited for a movie for a while now, so my classics self is pumped about what I’m hearing.
I guess it’s confirmed that it’s crap.
Why is everyone so fixed on hating this movie? Did the critical drinker just cook half of the world’s brains?
Sure, but his job is to gush over things. The movie may be great but that’s literally his job. He’s an entertainer.
Is he gonna say it’s bad to his guest’s face? Nah.
