My algo has been convinced that I’m gay, black, Spanish speaking, German speaking, into wood-chopping lesbians (true), and really interested in police body cameras.
She’s fickle like that.
Its so funny to me how every now and then I overhear guys talking about how their tiktok algo shows them gay stuff all the time and I’m like…. who’s gonna tell em??
I live in NYC and TikTok algorithm thinks I’m Canadian. I regularly get content specific to Toronto and from news agencies like the CBC. I’ll let y’all know when I get Canadian citizenship and move to Markham.
My algorithm only shows me cats and gay himbos.
The allegation that I’m a gay man who spoils my rescue kitty endlessly is 100% accurate.

I’ve curated my social media algorithms to only show me bird content. I use it less and get more pleasure out of it when I do.
I fully admit my TikTok figured out I was bi before I did. 😆 Same with ADHD lmao

My feed was showing me that dysautonomia could cause seizures…I started having them about 6 weeks later and was very grateful that I knew what to do and how to react. Very frightening that my heehee-haha meme app could diagnose me more accurately than any doctor I’ve been to tho.
Mine is mostly grilled cheese and corgis.
Genuinely tik tok started showing me content related to a couple different chronic illnesses and lo and behold, I was diagnosed with all 3 within the year. Genuinely scary that my algorithm knew before my doctors…
I looked up Club Chalemet *once* to figure out who tf everyone was talking about, and now Twitter thinks I should read nothing but Hudson Williams fans and Connor Storrie fans fighting eachother.
I don’t want any part of that drama, i just wanted the tea! Like you can’t say two stalkers of the same actor had a fistfight in front of his motel and expect me not to be curious.
