      100% agree. People are so selfish and sloppy. If you’re going to propose why don’t you show your future spouse how careless you are by leaving such a mess behind that someone else is either going to have to clean up or just dirty the environment??

      Even paper petals would have drastically been better – still not great to litter – but we all know those are plastic since they’re the most likely to be found in a store.

      These same people will be like “Japan is so clean 🤩” when they won’t even clean up behind themselves in their own country. They have zero personal responsibility and expect other people to clean up for them instead.

      I first learned about fake petals when some beach regulars showed up to their beach and saw these things all over the sand. It was a fucking mess and they picked up every single one

      So, yeah, fuck your corny ass proposal.

      I pick up trash every day on my afternoon walk, including one of the most popular beach/park areas in the state. The amount of fake feathers, plastic flower petals, DOLL HAIR (Trolls), confetti, and party decorations I pick up is criminal. Pick up your fucking garbage! Or heck, maybe stop buying party decor from Amazon and save your money?

      Wasn’t there another proposal at a beach somewhere in the last couple of months and they left all the plastic petals polluting the beach. People are such assholes

      Ι have a colleague who is a tour leader in a national park, which is protected by UNESCO. She did a graduation thing where she brought several of her friends on a tour, they did a photoshoot in one of the prettiest spots in the park and they threw tons of golden confetti and streamers, which have littered the park for years. Later we found out that she didn’t even graduate. She dropped out of school and lied about it. Those weren’t even her friends, they were her cousins. You can still see the confetti in some bushes, though and she tells guests in her tours that she has a PhD.
