Erling Haaland and his father bought the only known surviving 1594 printed edition of Heimskringla, a cornerstone of Norwegian history, for about $134,000.
Instead of keeping it as a private collectible, Haaland donated it to the public library in his hometown of Bryne so everyone could read it. He also helped launch a reading initiative for local students, saying that while football helped him achieve his dream, books can help countless others dream big too.

Haaland reminds me of Dimitar Berbatov.
He made a foundation for talented kids in any area, sports, math, art, geography chemistry and gives out scholarships.
In addition, he wanted to reform Bulgarian football because even though it is small scale and irrelevant the level of corruption would make FIFA blush and say “That is too much”
Sadly he lost.
Hopefully they scan it into a digital copy as well.
