Argentina vs Spain is an interesting matchup storyline wise. You got the best of the old gen doing his curtain call Messi) against his supposed successor (Yamal).

They also both came up through the BarƧa academy, and have that coincidental bathtub picture. Feels like a meeting decided by fate

What a choke job by England and Tuchel. Completely folded after that first goal.

Absolutely banger bottle job by Tuchel. Take out your best players and defend with nine players in the box lmfao.

England does what they always do. It’s on Tuchel for trying to park the bus when in this case, English football is the bus from speed.

I don’t think Argentina won because they played that well. England lost because their strategy after scoring the first goal was terrible. You don’t go into defensive mode in the 55th minute. Maybe in the 80th minute, when you’re protecting a lead—but defending for 35 minutes with only a one-goal advantage? Against the World Cup champions? That’s just asking for trouble. This loss is mostly on the England coach. His substitutions after the goal made it obvious his plan was to sit back and defend for the rest of the game. How is that not an unbelievably stupid strategy?

Was really rooting for England and I’m glad they opened the score, but they switched to defense-only mode way too early! And when Argentina scored, they didn’t have any offense to equalize, and the defense was getting eaten… guess I’ll root for Spain in the final even though they won against France yesterday (but the cocks were just floppy yesterday šŸ“)

    7. All the four Big Teamsā„¢ have made Cape Verde look really good in some way. Damn

    8. Today’s game was fair imo, no crazy VAR calls. I think England lost their confidence after the equalizer.

    9. First time two Spanish-language teams have played against each other in the final since the very first Cup in 1930 (Argentina v. Uruguay)

i am now a spain fan. england has once again let me down…. i am tired lol

    11. Insanely stupid strategy by Tuchel to park the bus at the 60th minute considering what we’ve seen from Argentina this entire competition

    12. I knew after England scored the first goal and Argentina was all over them in the box that they wouldn’t hold onto their lead. Shame.
