      Can we just talk about her as an SNL alum, not all the other garbage that will be brought up…She checked out a bit too much for me during the last season but you can’t deny her solid run for an /r/SNL cast member. Lots of external opportunities came her way.

      Can’t say she’s my favorite cast member and I’m a little surprised she completed the vaunted 7 season contract. Her impressions were often technically accurate, but with no comedic point of view to actually make them funny. She also seems terminally online.

      But you know, best of luck in the future.

      I liked her enough on SNL. Sad she will fade away into the nothingness that becomes of, like, 95% of the SNL cast now when they leave.

      Interesting that people here that are suddenly so forgiving of this lady being an active Scientologist who donates her money to recruit more people into their cult that is notorious for absolutely ruining lives and families.

      I have no insights to offer since I’m not an SNL girlie and barely know of this woman. I just wonder why that is when the same people can be so cutthroat with their support towards others who have done far less active harm 🙃

      I will make the contrarian take that she will do well post SNL.

      She has a comedy pedigree and is attractive enough to be the lead in Romantic comedy films.

      I don’t think she really got a character that stands out. Like the ones who do well on this show either have good comedic timing or a character like Marcello and Domingo and though Fineman was in that sketch he’s the one people remember or have a coveted Weekend Update spot but I think Che and Collin may be comfy right now.

      She has her stripper movie to fall back on, which is a decent flick. However, she always comes across as a try hard who’s trying to hard to be a cool kid.

      Good riddance! Aside from being a Scientologist, she once pantsed a young child in front of his peers. The child was much younger than her and she was one of the people in charge. She was a teenager at the time, but minors can still make a gross mistake involving an imbalance of power. She obviously learned nothing from it as she laughed about it and shared the story publicly as a whole ass adult.

      i think she carried snl for a little while but kinda faded away in her last couple of seasons. i’m not really sure what happened there.

      The only thing that is disappointing about her leaving is that there is one less woman on a show that doesn’t have many women. (Going from 5 to 4. Doesn’t account for new cast members.)

      I’m listening to a podcast about David Miscavige as I type this comment, just got to the part where members are being forced to crawl around on the carpet on their hands and knees for hours until their knees are scarred and bloody. This would go on day after day, but is still better than The Hole.

      Anyway, Scientology ruins lives.

      Yeah, this one doesn’t really bother me. Not really on a comedic level, and definitely not when looking at her as a person.

      That Jennifer Coolidge impression never really worked for me and it was repeated sooo many times like many of her impressions.

      Meanwhile I still think about James Austin Johnson’s micro impression of “*Bon Dylan’s phone on vibrate*” on a weekly basis lol

      Was never a particular fan of hers on SNL, even less so after learning she’s a Scientologist and her laughing about pulling down a little boy’s underwear and exposing his genitals. But I wish her well and hope she has the life she deserves.

      Not sure why this thread is hating on her but 7 seasons is the typical contract for cast members, so this isn’t surprising or performance based. She’s moving on to other projects like all cast members do.
