This isn’t the first outbreak tied to Taylor Farms.
This whole thing has really ruined my summer salad vibe. I’m eating pizza when I crave mixed greens.
Also weird to include Mexico in this statement to direct attention elsewhere….

Lettuce is so easy to grow! We chopped the leaves off romaine hearts during the panini and we put the “stumps” in a cup of water and set them in the windowsill, and they grew so fast. Sprouts are easy and fun too.
This administration slashed funding for regulating this, I bet no one has definitive proof who it’s linked to, but Taylor Farms is Taco Bell’s supplier and that’s enough for me, on top of all the other outbreaks tied to them (Taylor Farms).

like I get it’s bad PR that your lettuce is responsible for nationwide explosive diarrhea, but this is super irresponsible and just creating more confusion during an already scary time.

So they traced the outbreak back to a Taylor Farms producer, but no Taylor Farms branded items contain this lettuce, but they’ve removed all lettuce from that region indefenitely?
Sounds like the typical attempts of a corporation weaseling out of responsibility or blame. Pathetic.

Of all the things at Taco Bell that might give me explosive diarrhea, the shredded lettuce was not on my murder board.
This is confusing. It’s not us, Taylor, but it’s linked to Taylor in Mexico, so we are pulling Taylor lettuce. Huh?

Is the Taylor Farms **branded salads or kits** language doing a lot of heavy lifting here? I would take that to mean that while they supplied the lettuce to Taco Bell in the Midwest, their consumer level products weren’t part of that supply. I’m not sure I’m worried about their everything chopped salad kit in a random Walmart tbh.
Family owned company my ass.
They are literally buying out every entity they can get their grubby hands on.
Take your salads back to the store and demand a refund people.

They supply to EVERYONE. Sprouts, Kroger, In n Out, Chick Fil A, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, McDonald’s. Every major brand, they supply too.

Bull fucking shit. There is no way they’ve had that many cases in Michigan because of lettuce in Mexico. Of course shift the blame to an international supplier.
Y’all this isn’t a conspiracy they’re saying the salad kits people are posting saying “am I gonna die??” have not been found linked to the outbreak, just ice berg lettuce. They are clarifying the specific products that have been affected.
I’m still having my attorney go after them. Taylor Farms is 100% the source. I’ve been suffering for a week and they won’t get away with this.
They caused the E Coli outbreak 2 years ago with their onions as well.
They donated tons of money to politicians.
Well, if it’s from lettuce used at Taco Bell, it IS true that it is not from Taylor Farms packaged salad kits. But that does not mean that it is not from Taylor Farms wholesale restaurant supply lettuce.

I worked at a grocery store in 2021 and Taylor Farms has BEEN an issue for a while. They’re consistently having contamination issues and I don’t understand why there haven’t been repercussions. I mean, I do, I guess and it’s round and orange and demonic

This isn’t a ”claim“c it’s a clarification of an overly-broad and rushed FDA announcement.
I work in supply chain mgmt, and what they are saying is their B2C – **their consumer salad kits** we can buy directly – **do not contain any affected product**.
The parasite was **ONLY** found in their B2B – **business to business – shipments sold in bulk to commercial food businesses.** No grocery store salad kits they sell are affected.
I feel like Taylor Farms is always at the scene of the crime lol. I miss my leafy greens with homemade pasta 😩
