    1. For anyone that cares this is a public cycle and footpath not someones land. It is Corker Bottoms lane on the junction with Beaumont road in Sheffield UK. The gate is to stop cars etc using it and there is a gap to the side of the gate to allow cycles and pedestrians to pass. The reason cyclists keep hitting it is solely down to them traveling too fast down the hill and not paying enough attention.

    2. Generally, property owners aren't liable for injuries to trespassers, but you become legally liable if the fence was maliciously put up as a harmful trap or if it qualifies as an "attractive nuisance" that could harm children, like those riding their bikes

    3. By the looks of even a path was already made there smoothly, looks like it’s gonna be stolen by the government soon as public property if he ignores it

    4. I'm fucking done of mfrs on here acting like This guy didnt do this because he wanted these 'tresspasers' to ride on a road they likely didnt know was private and if you know how a hill works then you would understand that the bikers used to the gate not being closed would go doen the hill and start to pick up speed unable to stop and slam into the gate the odds are if they broke a rib or cracked their skull then the rib could EASLY puncture a vital organ do ANY of you guys understand that the owner is more at fault than the bikers the owner could have put up a sign or smt but chose to put ppls lives in danger bcuz he wanted to be petty well when someone sues i'm Going to be on the bikers side

    5. This wasn’t on private property. It wasn’t some man that out a gate up. This was in England. It was a town that out the gate in because it wasn’t a bike trail and it’s in a subdivision.

    6. Dude watching these people fly into that gate is pure comedy gold πŸ˜‚
Watching the original video is the best because you get to hear all their grunts and groans after they hit the gate. One of the funniest videos on YouTube to be honest.

    7. I can't imagine riding my bike so recklessly fast that I can't respond to a life endangering hazard like that. Dude is a dick if he was doing this intentionally, but the bikers are absolutely at fault for going as fast as they were that they couldn't identify and respond to the hazard, I reserve no sympathy for self caused injury.
