For cases like this each actor should be assigned like an assistant or something who works with intimacy coordinator so their needs are met. Maybe someone who has training and experience in jobs like that.
And yet, the show has great scenes like this. They look good and every actor has a great career.

Isn't the reason there was no intimacy coordinator (at least in the early seasons) because there were no intimacy coordinators yet? Earliest I can find references to intimacy coordinators is 2017, which is when season 7 aired and season 8 began filming.
Why should anyone have had to ask for a robe- like how are they not doing the bare minimum to allow her some comfort in clearly uncomfortable settings?
I think there should be a certain percentage within a movie where it is mandatory to have an intimacy coordinator. I don’t know that would do for shows that I already have intimacy coordinators for less than whatever percentage we agree on, but I think a show like Game of Thrones is a given. It’s also not fair on Emily Clark because if the intimacy coordinators were there, they would be able to take whatever blame off her shoulders cause they’re literally there to do the job but when you put it in the actor’s hands, it’s a totally different dynamic.
Jason is a guy I’d feel safe being alone in a room with! He gives whatever the opposite of toxic masculinity is, and I am so happy to hear how he advocated for Emilia Clarke
I did a clinical rotation in the OR and was really surprised by how little attention anyone paid to the dignity of the patients, makes and often completely splayed out on a table in a room sometimes nearly alone. I always made an extra effort to cover them as much as possible when it didn't affect the procedure. When people get caught up on their jobs, it's amazing how easy it is for them to forget to consider the person at the center, just a little thought and effort goes a long way. But it is a lot of mental load on that person, I'm glad at least you guys have found a way to prioritize the safety and dignity of young women especially.
You should absolutely run a free workshop to inform newbie actors how intimate scenes should be handled and the kind of care they should be getting for their mental health. Intimacy coordinators should be a Hollywood standard!
I’m not surprised this is how it was there are so many other things in the entertainment industry where women are victimized and objectified and abused and just used for their body like a prop. That’s why so many women would choose not to do those types of roles and scenes because there was no way to do it safely. It’s so much better having a professional there to help plan the scenes choreograph the scenes and make sure everybody has what they need and is able to advocate and make sure that everything is legal. It’s sad that so many other people had to try to fill that role, a fellow actor or someone who is supposed to be in charge of safety or hair and makeup. I’m glad things are better now and I’m really glad that everybody is benefiting from it so many Male actors have talked about how much better it is for them too as well as crew like gosh it must’ve been so challenging being a crew member having to film those scenes and having no one to care about your needs too. I know there are still challenges. It’s crazy to me that there’s still a risk that someone could die on set from a loaded gun, but I’m glad that there is so much more focus on the people who are doing the work than just the director or executives and what they want.
I'm not surprised, only because I know this is a newer area in the industry. At least more newly regarded and appreciated. I am, however, very glad to hear Momoa was looking out for her the way he was. That's absolutely the role I want to hear make actors in the industry playing.

That’s because when the show started the position of Intimacy Coordinator didn’t exist. This position is less than ten years old.
