Peter Parker is canonically a tragic superhero, he gets knocked down consistently, but gets back up just as consistently. At his core, that's who he is. His story is not about success, money, or revenge. It's about resilience.
That's what makes him Peter Parker, his life is shit, he gets screwed over countless amount of times, but he powers through. People love watching him endure, that's the inspirational part of his story. So no, its not the suffering that's loved, its the fact that he's having a worse week than you are, and he still goes out and does the right thing.
I feel like Zendaya and Tom come onto these interviews and are like "which is this Odessesy or Spiderman?" 😂
I would watch a whole film with no suffering AT ALL and just this trio being awesome.
