      Yeah, yall need new people. Until there is a confirm source(s) of this outbreak, I’m steering clear of a fresh and uncooked produce.

      Oooof PR should’ve spent more time on this. Starting with an “I told you so” and ending with “our thoughts are with the affected” will still leave a poor taste in people’s mouth regardless of if there’s a parasite in the lettuce. Bad optics under suspicious circumstances.

      Literally who are we supposed to trust anymore… FDA, CDC and so many trusted government organizations are ruined and the credibility in the toilet. Because some ass hat was allowed in to destroy something his small brain couldn’t understand.

      I genuinely hope they go under. To have this much of a monopoly over our fresh produce while they’ve been quietly & deliberately making it more difficult to grow our own food should be a crime.

      This is, for me, just another instance of feeling held hostage as an American by this fuckass administration. The people in charge ran on this platform, DODGE made ridiculous and nonsensical cuts to departments, and now ALL of us have to deal with it. Can’t even enjoy a fucking salad without it being a concern, jfc…

      Taylor Farms has a long history of recalls. They are an unsanitary farm. They are also a MAGA donor and this all comes across as the check cleared.  I’ll use my own common sense as unfortunately we can’t trust these government agencies.

      So they did a voluntary recall, costing them money, time, and PR.. without doing any independent verification first?

      That seems like really really bad executive decision making.

      Or they paid off the FDA to say it was a “false positive” and try and save some face.

      Am I crazy? I feel like I saw articles about 10 days ago saying it was due to Taylor Farm’s lettuce, then it was “we don’t know the cause”, then it was the Taylor Farm’s lettuce, and now it’s not? I understand the FDA can’t be trusted right now but does anyone else remember the first time they blamed the lettuce or am I making that up?
