I don’t get why they even try and do these remakes. The concept is appealing but I’d just rather watch the original.
Wow, this is soulless.
Years ago I climbed a mountain in the middle of a giant lake and the view was like this so I think you could capture that feeling in live action but if they don’t show her running down the mountain it just makes us feel like she is on a sound stage and running down a slope is too dangerous to film lol. The actress is so cute though and has such a great voice.

I don’t see the point of any of these live action versions. It’s just a waste of money. There’s no JOY in any of them. Blech.
The original Moana looked bright, colourful and somehow joyful. It just makes the filmed version look so drab in comparison.Â
the ocean was basically a character in the animated one, it had personality. real water just cannot do that little wave that boops moana on the head
