sure, argentinian football culture is gross and of course it’s a reflection of social norms, but also fuck him for using homophobic language and fuck any person from a (currently, multiple) war mongering country for writing these ridiculous claims
argentina, despite what they think, is still a third world place with almost no political power and always sorta fucked by circumstances, but also they’re not bombing anyone, trying to interfere in elections, stealing resources or anything like that.

Maybe this will not be to the liking of some on this side of the world, but this is just one selection, one handful of people from a country you probably have never visited, making these stories and ideas in your mind show how you lack a lot of intelligence

A good example of why “they can’t be [insert one brand of bigot], because they support other causes!” doesn’t mean much. He calls out racism using homophobic language.

There has been a mass psychosis about Argentina. I am pretty sure they are not saints, esp their football team, but the rhetoric has turned so ugly that I am just puzzled about what’s going on.
