      nothing that is on the maslow heirachy of needs should ever be consider a “privllage”: Housing, health, food, education are innate rights that should be given to every human being.

      none of us are asked to be brought into the world. why do we make it a issue to simply exist?

      He’s probably more of a Socialist Democrat than a Democratic Docialist, but the man is not telling any lies. So many people don’t realize they’re relying on socialism and ways that they are. Until someone like Doge comes through and removes that thing that they were using it.

      The crazy thing is that none of the things he’s mentioning are necessarily restricted to socialism. Most capitalist European countries have all these things without being a socialist country. US politics have just successfully brainwashed most citizens into believing these things are too much to ask for

      My whole life I was told by my capitalist, republican, MAGA dad that socialism is the equivalent of communism. I know he is wrong though, because countries that have adopted democratic socialism like the Nordic ones – Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Sweden – have been very successful. I would be open to the US adopting similar policies and ideologies.

      He’s right. Medicine and education should be paramount in all society. They should be accessible by everyone regardless of where you came from, who your parents are, what your gender is, how you identify, none of that should matter. Obviously more than just those two things but I’ve always believed those are two of the most important things to maintain a healthy and functioning society that would be inconstant positive progress.
