Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Vivienne filed a petition just days after her 18th birthday to legally drop her dad’s last name, requesting she be known as Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. The legal move follows that of her 20-year-old sister Shiloh—who legally dropped “Pitt” from her last name after submitting a legal request on her 18th birthday in 2024—as well as siblings Maddox, 24, and Zahara, 21, who filed similar petitions earlier this year. But for Vivienne, she’s been solely using the Jolie surname for quite some time. After all, she was credited as “Vivienne Jolie” in a 2024 Playbill for the Broadway production of The Outsiders, in which she served as an assistant to her producer mom. This is very sad for a. Mom to brainwash her children to remove their father last name. It’s awful for one parent too be so resentful. This is teaching her children to behave bad. All of this because she hate their father.

in toxic household it is honestly so tiring to see people not understand or even try to understand abuse is insanely toxic and not to be normalised. I’m deeply disturbed at these children having to drop Brad Pitt’s name. They’re a part of his life. Let them grow to adulthood and become who they are normally and make their decisions for themselves. They have been put in a twisted situation which I find diabolical, and I feel deep down inside that they are going to suffer long-term damages.
I’m grateful that Brad Pitt is remaining silent and living his life as respectfully as he can owning up to whatever he knows happened in the divorce and in the marriage and I feel deeply sorry for these children I had a father who twisted us against my beautiful mother who died very young, and I have lived my adult life, yearning for my beautiful mother, as I raised her younger children and now they’ve all died!
I ache to think of these children having to remove a name without really knowing who their father is quietly and silently between them and him!
No respect for these kids. That’s not irony.
