      Fred Astaire famously did not want biopic so no I don’t think that is how he would have done it

      Edit: I’m a big fan of Holland dancing and would love to see it in anything else but this project is against Astaire’s express wishes. Why can’t it be an homage or inspired-by original movie ugh

      Am I the only one who doesn’t see a resemblance? Personally I see Holland as better suited to playing Gene Kelly than Astaire – shorter, more muscular, great ass.

      On a purely physical resemblance level Hiddleston would be a better Astaire, though of course he doesn’t have the technical skills

      Should have starred Jamie Bell instead. He tried to get that movie made for years.

      After that Umbrella video, I’m inclined to watch anything Tom dances in. I wish it was a different project that wasn’t dishonoring the man’s wishes.
