    Synopsis: THE FIVE STAR WEEKEND is centered on Hollis Shaw, a famed cook and best selling author known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanor, who suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the death starts to expose the cracks in Hollis’s picture-perfect life—her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing pursuit of validation from her fans. In an effort to overcome grief and find herself again, Hollis gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star. Set against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, the stars will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed.

      Just finished watching this show All 8 episodes) in one sitting that's how good the writing and acting was, I really hope there is a season 2 this was fabulous.

      It was a really feel good series. I was sad to be at the 8th episode and to know it was ending! I have Stage IV Cancer, have had it for 10 years! And of course, at this stage I get tired of hearing the C word in movies, I’m like, couldn’t it be a different disease? It had to be the C word! But, I hope they come back with season 2! I have to know what happens to Tatum after the test results, and what happens to the rest of the crew. But, I’m pretty sure this is it. If you want to watch a feel good show, this is it. It’s not overly filled with drama. Although, when they were plying tennis, and they were interrogating the woman, that part, it got to me, but it won’t give you nightmares. lol.

      IDK. We out here working our asses off to pay our bills and keep a roof over our families head… tThe over the top house on a island no less, The food no 1 eats, I only like the dog lol. A pj dance party seriously. My husband died of 2 kinds of cancer. I'm struggling every fucking day just to keep it together and not blow up my life and run away. Can't relate to this show.

      I guess they all needed a paycheck.

      Rehashed, old storylines with less than believable actresses/actors, whatever.
      Nothing about this show relates to the real women in this country, the backbone of every family.
      Give me something called "My Five-Star Campground" and then I might watch it. 🙄
      Just once I wish Hollyrude could read the room and understand that most women in America don't have these beautiful lives.
