Is a one line joke really worth an article? Is it worth posting about? This isn’t something that actually happened. Damon was listing a bunch of actors from his generation and Nolan made a joke.
I’d like to see the one where Bale got/took the role.

I can see Tom hardy being good in the role
Brolin is an interesting pull here. He’s the only one who hasn’t been in a Nolan movie.
josh brolin would have been a solid choice for the post war odyssesius. although i am not sure how they would have portrayed a younger version of the character
There is a trend when you play the lead, Nolan doesn’t cast you anymore

Jackman would have been a fun nod. He actually has Greek heritage.
