Cry Me a River is genuinely a creepy music video and I can't believe we let Justin Timberlake get away with so much

I hated him since nsnyc and this hate never stopped. Dude has always been timbalands lapdog.

    3. Michael Jackson had his sister Latoya play his love interest in the Say Say Say music video.

Liv Tyler danced on a stripper pole in her dads Crazy music video

Justin gives me the ick. After reading what he did to Britney I don’t want to even look at him.

As for other songs: I absolutely love P!NK and her summer carnival concert was one of the best concerts I’ve been too (and believe me I’ve seen a lot). But her song stupid girls and the video didn’t age well so no wonder she’s no longer performing it.

Justin has always been a weirdo with woman. The whole thing with Britney completely threw me off him

benny madrones – into the night

      She’s just 16 years old
      Leave her alone, they said
      Separated by fools
Who don’t know what love is yet
But I want you to know
      If I could fly
      I’d pick you up
I’d take you into the night
      And show you a love
Like you’ve never seen, ever seen

33 year old, grown ass man stalking outside a 16 year olds window watching her, calling her on a phone, says her parents just don’t understand true love, literally takes her out on a magic carpet ride and makes out with her for an uncomfortable amount of time while looking like a decrepit fuck. and people used to love this song it was a hit đŸ€ź

tried to say that the song was about a 16 year old neighbor and their platonic friendship but the lie detector determined that was a lie

Probably some of Eminem’s early stuff taking potshots at Christina and Britney. I say this as someone who did and still does love Eminem

Despite being hugely popular at the time of its release, and becoming the blueprint for later popular videos like Usher’s *U Remind Me* and Justin Bieber’s *Baby,* Michael Jackson’s *The Way You Make Me Feel* is creepy as fuck when viewed through today’s lens.

He yells out to a girl walking down the street at night and spends 5 minutes chasing her down dark alleys, air humping at her, and eventually surrounding her with a group of other men. After being dazzled by the dance moves, she “gives in” and embraces him at the end of the video. Rape culture at its finest!

G-Eazy and Halsey’s *Him & I*. Trying to sell everyone on their ‘eternal love’ in a music video, only for the relationship to implode horribly immediately after. Aged like milk in real time.

Pillow Talk by Zayn Malik. The music video featured Gigi Hadid (his girlfriend at the time). They ended up breaking up years later after Zayn physically assaulted her mother and then went on a podcast this year saying he doesn’t know if he was ever actually in love with her (they have a child together)

27-year-old R. Kelly producing 15-year-old Aaliyah’s debut album titled *Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number* while grooming/sexually abusing/illegally marrying her. It’s insane how much was just right out there.

    12. I will die on the hill that out of all the other NSYNC members, JC Chasez should have had the solo career success that Justin Timberlake has.

(Unless JC has done something awful that I don’t know about, haven’t really heard anything about him at all though)

The music video is fine but My Sharona is unfortunately very catchy for being what it is 🙁

“When Doug Fieger was 25 years old, he met 17-year-old Sharona Alperin, who inspired a two-month-long run of songwriting, as well as eventually becoming his girlfriend for the next four years. Fieger recounted that “It was like getting hit in the head with a baseball bat; I fell in love with her instantly. And when that happened, it sparked something and I started writing a lot of songs feverishly in a short amount of time.” Fieger and Averre worked out the structure and melody of the song. Averre was originally averse to using Alperin’s name in the song, but Fieger wanted it to be a direct expression of his feelings; Averre ultimately relented.”

Cry Me A River was also a response to his relationship with Britney ending, which we now know was because she got pregnant and wanted to settle down and he didn’t.

Feels like kind of an unnecessary jab at her.

The beat, the singing all soo good but the lyrics are a hard no.

The song Best Of You by the Foo Fighters has aged poorly since Dave Grohl had a secret lovechild.

Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings video was a pretty good encapsulation of her Blackfishing era and feels so awkward now as a result.
