      i am from a state entrenched in generational poverty that has seen the majority of our major grocery stores flee and create food deserts where no one has access to anything outside of gas station or fast food options.

      god i wish our representatives looked to this man as an example to follow.

      instead our mayor has made camping on the sidewalk an arrestable offense.

      In Canada grocery stores set prices x3 what they should be and the government does nothing about it. This guy is in office for a year and already he introduced low cost government run grocery stores…

      I am waiting for everyone to forget what a military commissary is. They do something similar for military families. The rest of us deserve it, too.

      I have a very ignorant question, please ELI5; what are the actual consequences of some of the decisions he’s making? Because it almost feels likes it’s all positive outcomes with little cost. If that’s so, then how come these decisions weren’t made before? What did previous decision makers have to lose?
