I feel like the thing a lot of people miss about this scene is that whole point of this interaction was to make her a villain. Not to us but to the everyone in the MCU.
Nobody actually understood the nature of their relationship besides a few close friends and government officials. They let her in without a fight, not because they knew it'd be in a vain (though it would be) but because he wanted her to see them doing this to Vision and go crazy, he was originally hoping she'd revive Vision right then and there or she'd do some crazy power stuff and make herself an easy target for the government. He was always going to make her out to be the crazy bad guy, he just could not have concieved just how powerful she actually was.
But then she ressurected Vision anyway (from his perspective) and so he had no recourse but to feed into the idea that she's genuinely insane and evil.
It blows my mind the logic behind all of this. Just another example of why this show was total trash. They really had no plan after endgame and just threw stuff at the wall and hoped it would stick.
Yknow, you could’ve told her what you were going to do with the body ahead of time and let her say goodbye while he was intact, just an idea 🤷♂️🤣
