She honestly did continue to grow throughout the series, and learned from her mistakes. She had some deep lows, and that was when she finally felt some freedom, and tbat can be known to happen with people who experience lots of trauma. Then she learned from it all, and advanced her life. I'm sure she'd still be helping her siblings that are working to make their lives better.
