One of the greatest Canadians in history. His legacy still saves lives.
Thank you for posting this. It always makes me emotional when I think about what he was accomplishing at such a young age.
Considering he died in his early twenties, 68 today wouldn’t seem that old.
I’m American, so I heard of him later on in life, but he did a great thing raising money for cancer research and helping others long after his death.
He’s a Canadian hero and icon. I highly recommend anyone who doesn’t know his story to look it up, it’s very moving.
I cant belive he was running the whole time with those shoes without hurting himself. Def a legend

The other day, I read that nearly 40% of people will have cancer in their lifetime. That SHOCKED me and makes me wonder why we aren’t treating it like an asteroid hurtling toward earth. Grateful for everyone who has given their life to raise awareness and work toward a cure.
