Wholesome-vibes viral “Live From the Trees” Instagram account is actually a corporate operation, owned by Doing Things Media. The man is an actor, and a fan of Ben Shapiro’s transphobia

Man companies aren’t doing enough to vet people anymore cause this wasn’t some buried little secret.

Companies think it’s so easy to bamboozle people these days, but it’s only a matter of time for them to be revealed as POS.

    3. You are being emotionally manipulated by short form video content. Turn it off.

    4. I saw these on reels & it was so obviously professionally produced, especially for an older “salt of the earth” man like they’re portraying him to be. the people like him that I know in real life wouldn’t be able to create something of that quality – they’re all outside and didn’t grow up with technology. when they do record videos, they’re fumbling and rambling.

at first I thought it might be AI, but things are too consistent between shots & some of the shots are too long for that to be likely. I checked the account page & saw that it was only following a handful of people, including the actor portraying this guy, who apparently also does Santa gigs. as a tree-loving spirit myself, I can usually tell when somebody’s play-acting. this has me feeling sooooo vindicated!!

This reads like an I Think You Should Leave skit starring Biff Wiff.

      RIP Shirt Brother.

    6. I’m not on tiktok, so out of the loop – what’s the point of these corpo-backed themed accounts? Like, what’s in it for them? I get that if it’s a fake influencer pushing a product and giving glowing reviews, but why a running persona skit?
