Keke Palmer talks about her relationship with Sean Evans: “Our chemistry is genuine. I can’t force it if I wanted to… I was shocked that everybody was ready to marry me…It’s so parasocial, the world we live in.”

So she’s not saying no. She’s just leaving it up in the air for us to speculate.

Keke Palmer is so charming that I’m convinced she could have chemistry with a cardboard box, but I’m still happy for her and Sean

This relationship is even faker than the Pam Anderson/Liam Neeson sham

Please someone give this woman her own sitcom or movie. She is stunning, absolutely hilarious, her comedic timing is insane, she sings like an angel.

I love how the interviewer asks her the question and then proceeds to interrupt less than halfway in. She doing the “writing the story ending before it’s happened” thing to Keke in this interview too 🫠

It’s kind of wild seeing the number of comments here that are missing the point she’s making lol. I definitely get the impulse to some degree since Keke and Sean have mad chemistry and seem so cute together, but speculating and forecasting and getting emotionally invested in their relationship is 100% contributing to the parasocial world we live in now.
Let them breathe and figure out things on their own, and go on and live YOUR life, hopefully thinking about and doing more important things. Or at least channeling some of that emotional investment you’re feeling into someone or something real in your life. As she says, we can’t write their story before they live it. In fact, us doing so may negatively impact their ability to do so.
tl;dr importance of us all going outside and touching some grass sometimes. They deserve to live out their private lives without interruption from strangers!

wait how do people actually start marrying her like that

Wasn’t Sean married? Did he straight up announce his crush on Keke and then immediately ditch his marriage as soon as she reciprocated? Maybe I’m misremembering something.
