    1. Next week she’ll excitedly announce a life jacket brand partnership and then act puzzled when she loses whatever’s left of her followers

    2. ‘We will never stop learning from our mistakes… it might cost another innocent child their life, but we will keep learning.’

      😬

I get that there are no perfect parents, but you’d think she would take water safety in particular extra seriously. Then again, my nephew was burned severely enough to spend a few weeks in the burn unit three years ago when he was just twelve months old and I still have to hound my family about the kind of safety that could’ve prevented the accident (which infuriates me to no end).

    4. This person is so incredibly triggering to me. I have basically bankrupted myself securing my pool because the risk is so great. I cannot fathom their complete disregard for their children’s lives, it’s horrific and I wish they were deplatformed.

    5. She could start by actually rearranging her priorities so that her child actually gets more care and attention than her online presence.

    6. She and her husband are disgusting. I hope Trigg rests in peace, he and his siblings deserve so much more.

    7. How you could even have your kids near water after what happened, I do not understand.

How do people know he didn’t have a life jacket on? Was a photo posted on social media? If so, sorry but she was just asking for it.

I really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but I think I’m out. I cannot imagine my son drowning to death in the back yard pool and ever letting my other children near water again, let alone sans life jacket on a boat. She is also pregnant with another child already!

Definitely not at all suspicious that this comes on the heels of her sub dropping their “positive comments only” rule…

How is this family still online in a public fashion? Is this constant shaming a kink?

Glad her weirdo supporters are even starting to turn on her now. This awful woman and her awful husband need to go away. Absolutely shameless the pair of them.

    13. Interesting that the statement says “we” and “our” but only her name is listed on the statement.

    14. Parents make mistakes, sure. But my parents NEVER let me on a boat without a life vest. They were super strict about it. This was the EIGHTIES, when child safety was a bit of an afterthought. If my parents knew it back then, there is zero excuse for Emily.

As much as I understand everyones negative reaction to her actions. I personally feel like there’s something twisted , ugly and gross about the sick pleasure I feel people are getting from watching this woman and waiting for moments like this. She needs to get off the internet.

    16. This fun and carefree trip, where Brady was also drinking a beer while on the boat with his lifejacketless son, was on the year anniversary of the first son passing away.

Also, she’s lying of course, but saying the baby didn’t have the life jacket on for a “few moments” feels very reminiscent to when Brady said trigg was in the water for a “moments” when it was really almost 10 minutes.

Clearly, that reality does not stay with them every moment. Incredible lack of care and interest for their own babies.

(Imo) There has been a massive overcorrection in family court/dcf that allows parents to get away with just about anything. This case is extreme, but I’ve worked with kids for ~5 years and I’ve seen parents get away with sickening verbal abuse and physical neglect or harm.

    18. I don’t know who this woman is, but only by this letter I can tell I hate her.

    19. It’s not a mistake when it’s a pattern of behavior. It’s negligence and potential 3rd degree murder.

I’m OOTL but her child drowned and now she was out on a boat with another child who wasn’t wearing a life jacket?

      Do I have that right?

    21. It is not remotely believable that her son wore a lifejacket on that boat. What are the odds of her friend filming a video at the exact “moment” he had his lifejacket off?

Just be honest. She is insulting her audience’s intelligence by lying to them.

    22. I swear, scientists in the future will study the absolutely stupidity of influencers and their zero-consequences mindset.

Their only skill set is harvesting views.

    23. Advanced-Trainer508 on

It doesn’t even make logistical sense. A life jacket is something you put on before you’re out on the water, not halfway through a boat trip. The video was taken in the middle of the water, so the idea that she somehow forgot it and then chose that moment to put it on doesn’t really follow. If anything, it would be even stranger to have put the life jacket on at the start, while safely on land, and then deliberately taken it off once they were already out on the water.
