Omg i LIVED for these books as a kid. I related the most to Kristy, but I loved all of them.
I have such distinct memories of getting hand me downs of these books as a kid and using them to help me read. Claudia was my favorite 💚

Yeah, my sister used to read Babysitters Club (and Girl Talk books) so I read them too despite how it way out of my usual genre (fantasy, science fiction, superhero comics, manga, etc).
I just love how cozy the books is.
It’s like playing Stardew Valley after doing 10 hours run of Dark Souls.
I remember one of my friend made fun of me because I was reading ‘girly books’, but I just don’t care. Its fun, so I keep reading them.
I’ve seen they’ve brought out graphic novels of some of the books and I love that the series is finding a new audience through that so long after the first release!
I recently found the first 6 books at a used bookstore for my kiddo, so I may have to borrow them and do a reread!

Can’t believe it’s been FORTY years. WOW! I loved night The Babysitter’s Club AND The Babysitter’s Little Sister books. 🤓
I loved these SO much! I still have a bunch of these and recently gave them to my daughter to read. She hasn’t started but I hope she loves them too
It’s so funny how things change because I feel like nowadays, girls their age are rarely babysitters. Which is a bummer because I think kids need more independence (and less screens ofc)
I was a huuuge BSC fan as a kid. I collected the books and would carry them around proudly in a pillowcase like a hobo
It was an actual crime that Netflix cancelled the show. It was precious.
There are things I read in those books that I use with my own children. The books were such a gift to me as a young girl. Even the little sister series.

Back when I babysat, I made a “kid kit” with puzzles, books, etc. to bring with me just like they did in these books 🥰
I read so many of these books, and the Little Sister series. Once I started babysitting I was like I’m now in the club!
