Is this a situation where the subject knows the interview is comedically barbed against them a la “Between 2 Ferns” or no? This is my first time encountering Ziwe so forgive my ignorance.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard him speak before – is this a bit between them or is he really not very smart? She just completely ran circles around him and he just came off as smug and vapid.

I know he just did a stint on Project Runway that wasn’t well received – if he spoke like that it’s not surprising . Supercilious and humourless is not a good combination. 

I would believe he might not know the meaning of “oligarch”!but “proletariat “? “Pander”? Come on. 

I wonder if he needs a dictionary at hand at all times or if he’s just pretending he doesn’t know words.

I’m convinced he never watched an episode before agreeing to this. She was always going to eat him alive.
