Halle Berry Didn’t Know Hugh Jackman Did This Until Years Later

In 2003, Halle Berry was sexually harassed during X-Men 2 reshoots. She reported it, but the studio buried the case. She confided in Hugh Jackman, a close friend. Hugh took action-he reached out to investors, pulled off a hostile takeover of the smaller studio involved, and bought 51% of it, using $18 million of his own money and loans. Then he personally fired the producer. Halle only found out when someone called to say the man was gone. Years later, Hugh told her, “I wasn’t going to let him breathe the same air as you.” She cried and said, “That’s not friendship. That’s family.”
