This is lovely. It’s funny to think about a King just being someone’s grandfather. This encapsulates both sides of the man. I’m so sorry for their loss. It has been a chaotic year for that family.
Harald was truly a King to the nation when he gave that speech, but he was also very much a grandfather while doing so. And Maud Angelica is a sweetheart—one of my favorite Norwegian royals (even though she isn’t officially one)
Her calling him “moffa” is just so cute and relatable
