The amount of B and C list actors and actresses that turned down roles because they thought they were too good for them only for these characters to be some of the most iconic in recent years is laughable.
Seyfried would have made a fantastic Gamora, and people, especially Marvel Studios, need to get over their recasting hang-up because it's stupid and it only hurts the brand in the long run by replacing beloved characters with no bodies.

Zoe is definitely the better pick
“WHY is Gamora?”

I think the difference was ted 1 was a success, guardians 1 was new
Zoe then became part of two of the highest grossing movies. Thanks Amanda!
Tbh, I can't see anyone else other than Zoe playing Gamora.
I don't imagine anyone expected GOTG to be successful

That’s why successful actors are the ones who choose roles without obsessing over box office numbers
Has she LOST HER MIND!? the Guardians movie FLOPPED!? Has she even seen the MCU movies before this came out?
Can you talk about Eric Bauza's passing
Most actors would have done the same.
She probably saw the success of GOTG or at least saw the trailers and thought it wasn't that bad, so she then said yes to Ted 2.
I don't think she could've e pulled off the tough badass role. Zoe is perfect as Gamora.
She was in a bunch of shitty scary movies be she was scared that a marvel movie was gonna flop in the golden age of cbm’s
She's not into comics obviously.
Some of these actors should ask friends who are into the franchises before they answer…..
I'm glad she didn't take the role because I love Zoe Saldana's Gamora

Meanwhile she stills remains a B-List actor even C-list
What still kills me is her absence in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
We've known about this for years…
