I’m really starting to realize that people just want something to complain about anymore. Once one thing gets old, they move onto the next. Sure, the KarJenners have gotten a lot of heat for a lot of things. Some of which has been cultural appropriation… i.e. hairstyles, clothing, etc. But the ethnicity or skin color of the person you date is not cultural appropriation. The music you enjoy is not cultural appropriation. Enjoying and appreciating other cultures SHOULD be celebrated, and I’ve found that aside from a few, MOST cultures DO want others (including boring ol white folk 😒) to learn and join in, providing they are respectful.
Honestly, I have a feeling that if just about any other celebrity enjoyed a beautiful mariachi band on their birthday, no one would have so much as blinked. But because it was a Kardashian, of COURSE it was wrong 😂
