      PS—My first marriage, girl, I have stories that would raise the hair on the back of your neck and just blow your mind. Can’t BELIEVE how long I deluded myself.

      I instantly thought of you when I saw Sophie & Joe sold their house. You’ve got such great insights! The other one I noticed is when a couple lives together for years and then they get married all the sudden. They get divorced within a year. Like Hank Azaria & Helen Hunt. It’s like the vow renewal.

      Last thing, there have been studies in neighborhoods in the UK showing kids who are supposedly fathered by the same husband/partner are actually fathered by someone else. So mom has 3 kids who are all supposedly from the same dad and one of those kids will have a different dad that no one knows about. 😉

      Wow Shallon you're absolutely right. In arabic we have a word "Alhawa" which literally means wind and we use it for following feelings blindly. Like, someone is just letting the wind control them.

      Older and peak millennials were “too old” for the Jonas brothers wave. It was mostly young millennials, zillennials, and gen z.
      *not saying if you’re apart of that group you couldn’t of been a fan, just talking about their typical target audience member which was a child, tween, or teen girl. They were Like the hanson for older and peak millennials 😂

      Ive posted saying this before but after being married forever (well, 14 years) i can honestly say if i got married when i was in my 20's it wouldnt have lasted. I look back on those years and have no regrets working hard and having fun. I was genuinely ready for kids and i love it.I adore being a mum. But i did all the 'things'. Not saying 'young marriages' dont work of course! But i get why they might not.

      I have friends who renewed the vows in 2014 at their 10 years wedding anniversary. They are together now still.

      They did it for the same reason as me and my husband will do it:
      The wedding wasn't exactly like we want it to be, some people were not able to be there, the location was not amazing. Plus we love a party.

      if they divorce or not, I still think she was way too young to settle down; she had a promising career ahead that was paused because of all the lovey-dovey things they were up to when she was supposed to take advantage of her youth and find opportunities to grow her career after GoT and… he's too full of himself🤮.

      I intentionally share this with your audience but nah yeah you. I'm a man & whatever that means to anyone is up to any person's guess. But I know what a man & woman are. I want to punch the wall because I can't punch out the cancer in my mom. But honestly, my mom… A man that loves his mom isn't bad. A man that loves women isn't bad. Men and women are just different but not in bad ways.

      Your totally right! They have nannies and all the shit. I would imagine he whined about childrearing and being left with the kids in order to cause conflict and guilt trip her into down sizing her career.

      I will say about the Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.. i saw a brief interaction of theirs and he was genuinely gushing about her and praising her singing to be better than his.. so i feel like the key here is that guy must have great respect and admiration for their wife as a person and her accomplishments. I think those marriages will last a long time especially with a good woman.

      Man, I hope they can work things out. I kind of love seeing this young married couple and it showed me that being an empowered woman didn’t mean you had to reject traditional social structures!

      Also I loved Sansa and one of my friends got to meet Sophie since she was a consultant at Vera Wang 💕

      But that’s really sad for us career girls the problem is we want a guy who does better than us but the guy that does better than us can have any girl he wants. He can have a model , if he wants a career woman then again he can go get the CEO of an international company . We tend to not be the type of the man we want because men tend not to judge on a women’s success and the ones that do tend to be on the sleazy side. Also in terms of what Shallon said the man can bring coffee well if he s busy he probably isn’t the type that is there to accommodate us and bring coffees and kill spiders

      My first thought was guilty people often accuse others of their own crimes. He wanted to strike first and call her a bad mother who abandoned her children. Then, if she makes a statement and says, “we’re divorcing bc he did (super awful thing)” it will just make her look vindictive and no one will believe her.

      Enjoy your humor, honesty and eloquence. But girl, you have some things wrong. No, you don't drop the towel and leave a relationship because you're not "happy" or you feel "lonely" or someone doesn't live up to your "expectations". Why? Because the only constant in failing relationships is you.

If the roles were reversed and it was a woman saying she was being ditched with the kids and may as well be single, we’d be celebrating her for leaving a deadbeat. Sophie is the deadbeat dad here and help or no Joe has every right to be pissed about that

      When you say you don't want children that your career is your baby, good for you if you have that certainty. But I have never met a 70 or 80 year old who said that the most wonderful thing looking back was their career, most if not all always say, always say it's their family. Quite a lonely life turning eighty and having no narrative to link your experiences to give meaning to ones life. Said with all due respect.

      Speaking from an honest perspective – although monogamy is deffinitely hard – having that intimacy, that same person you are connected with – that is priceless and it worth giving up lust and butterflies over.
      I mean being single is fun, hooking up, dating… but having someone make you soup when you're ill and hold you when you're sad… that is trully priceless.
      Jumping from relationship to relationship.. doesn't that mean that all of us are deep down craving that intimacy?
