getting botox is seen as almost as normal as grabbing a coffee. get it on your lunch break! throw a botox party! 13 years old? so what! inject yourself with botox! but does anyone actually know WHAT they’re injecting into their faces? only one of the most poisonous substances known to man, that’s what. what are the long term effects? side effects? what’s so bad about having facial expressions anyway? kylie jenner went so far with her fillers and botox that she could barely keep her eyes open. kendall jenner is barely recognisable. kim kardashian is so expressionless that aside from her flared nostrils, I can hardly tell what expression she’s trying to portray. bella hadid looks more like carla bruni than carla bruni looks like carla bruni. basically – wtf is going on. when is enough, enough? repeat after me folks, botox AINT for everyone, and it certainly ISN’T a requirement.

ok guys, gimme your thoughts on botox. love it? hate it?
I took a shot every time Stephanie sad bloody, i'm bloody drunk know xP
Teens? Thats crazy…..im twenty wix and I have been starting to think about future aging wondering of I'm too young to be starting an anti aging routine and teens are getting botox whattttt
My thoughts exactly. Sawa quote somewhere that said that if you get botox at 70, you'll still look 70 but with a smooth forehead".. so true and creepy.
Girl, your face was so frozen in that old clip…. You looked older to me in that video because my brain associates frozen, inexpressive face to older people desperately trying to look younger.
I'd love to hear you do a review of actors who have done it really well – is it worth it in that case, when its done in very small amounts? (e.g. Margot Robbie)
Love this video!
Thank you for these videos 💖 It's not only educational to learn about plastic surgery (which is surrounded by misinformation) but also super encouraging for young people like me to NOT follow these dangerous trends because you feel the social pressure of aging 😓
girl you don't have to lift your eye brows for all video along to show you have no botox
3:00 is where it starts
There is not enough evidence for the muscle atrophy claim. The study you mentioned is so irrelavant
I've gotten botox done once for my gummy smile and I'm very excited to to do it again. For me, not having to worry about my smile is a massive weight off my chest but not a procedure that i think affects me negatively. at the place i went theres a minimum unit buy in so i had a couple units left over for my crows feet. while i don't love my crows feet, i feel like the botox moved around where my smile lines would go and i would not do it again. my boyfriend said it made me looking like i had been crying lol. the only other botox i would consider getting is tmj for my forever clenching jaw.
so i feel like we need to have a healthier view of what botox can do for us. we don't need frozen faces, its good to look human, even if that means having lines when you express yourself.
And, if you still want to participate in anti aging methods(it's a choice, not a necessity), there's ways other than botox. exercise your face, activate muscles that lift, face tape at night helps reduce deep lines without potentially damaging your muscles. yeah they're not 100% going to keep the lines away but you don't need to, living to see your wrinkles is a privilege.
Thank you for bravely shedding light on the consequences of botox 🙏🏻🌸
I feel like she lives in a place/circle where Botox is very common but it is not as common as she says, in most countries. LA and Hollywood are extreme examples as well. I personally don’t know anyone who’s ever had Botox, old or young.
I am 27 I am not a young person … WHaT?????
5:45 youre equating 2 separate things here.
I have always had forehead lines since I was a kid. Sometimes, I do use Frownies (those old-timey face stickers) overnight to give myself a break, and I like that it's just a temporary softening effect. Maybe if I used them all the time I could train my facial muscles, but I like being expressive, and my baby loves it too ❤
i think bella hadid looks older just because of her face shape not bc of her botox
be real were the Tupperware parties not also fucked up????
Yeah, I hate it. Women should be allowed to have wrinkles and emotions ffs. I do think all of these women have done more than botox though 😅
I've been doing bunny nose ever since I was a child.
Yet they look so much worse
I got some for the first time on my forehead actually bc I don’t like how I always make the angry eyebrow thing (sometimes I’m just thinking or squinting even in my sleep), so I’m actually happy that I won’t be showing all my emotions on my face.
I get it for medical reasons and it’s now not funded on the NHS because it’s just considered to be ‘cosmetic’ so the hospital will literally say yes this is the best thing for you so we encourage you to keep spending £200 every few months rather than funding it ourselves
A very prominent scientist / chemist told me one gram if true clean botox would kill a room full of people. ( About 300) . He told me yo ne er get it. That's enough for me .
Wow Stephanie looks completely differeht w ith and without botox
Good on Julia Roberts.
As for me, i never have this procedure in my mind as to have it done. It never enters my mind. I feel old-fashioned but im ok w that
I am so thankful for my therapist who was successful in dissuading me from getting these things done. I struggle with acne but I somehow got used to them and they've become part of who I am. I don't even try to hide them anymore. Thanks to my therapist I feel much more secured with myself. I am nowhere close to these beauty standards. I am 5'1, brown, pimply but I am fine with it. I actually really like what I see in the mirror daily. I think all of us women need good therapy to overcome this trauma inflicted through generations. We need to be kind to ourselves and understand that by wanting to get work done constantly, we are getting more and more disconnected from who we actually are.
I remember watching that BBC documentary
