Sky’s James Matthews was given a rare look inside and met prisoners held in extreme conditions.

  2. I’ve seen people go to prison for a small sentence, like under two years, and I end up getting in a fight, and they have to protect them selves so he has a knife for protection and end up killing him and never going home

  3. The state of California isn't out to treat prisoners humanly, the are integrating them se they kill each other. Mixing gangs and protective custody and death row… they just want them to die

  4. Any guy who kills a cellmate who did nothing just to try to go to court does not need to be here.

  5. SAD WAY TO LIVE I PRAY TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER I NEVER FIND MYSELF IN A SITUATION AND SEND ME TO A PLACE LIKE THIS THIS IS NOT LIVING THIS IS NOT LIFE

  6. So there's thousands of level III and IV prisoners, not even on death row who are arguably too dangerous to ever be released? But then these guys who society deemed heinous to be put to death, are up for consideration for education and work? Who in the hell is in charge anyway??? This is ridiculous!

  7. They won’t take responsibility for their actions. They will think they can commit more crimes because they got off on the earlier crimes they committed

  8. It's looks like a horrible dark depressing place to be I'm not saying that some people don't deserve it because they do but still looks horrible

  9. California Legal System Logic
Death sentence imposed upon murderers with no remorse: Premeditated murder
Abortion: Completely normal, totally not killing a living being in favor of convenience, and should be free to all women even underaged girls with complete anonymity.

Very logical and sound state, I wonder how their crime rates reflect these excellent choices.

  10. This is nonsense. How are these people supposed to be reintroduced back into the "free" world when they won't be able to survive and hold a steady decent paying job because of all the restrictions placed on them? The CDCR is lying, as all working for the law do.

  11. Guys that took life and freedom from others bitching about life and freedom being taken from them….imagine that.
