The reason a lot of people who aren’t Swifties and won’t decode her Easter eggs can still recite her dating history is because many of them who can are ex dedicated fans who eventually got annoyed by all the bullshit she does. That’s why. It isn’t always out of some slut shaming misogyny (though it does exist), but out of annoyance at her bullshit, as a direct result of being a fan.

I’ve been deep in my fair share of fandoms in my lifetime, but being a Swiftie seems like a lot.
Why does everyone praise her “easter eggs”? They are the most surface level, inane, nonsense. It’s like an ARG made by dull 7th graders.

I love how everyone talks about her “Easter eggs” like they’re these brilliantly-constructed puzzles but really it’s just shit like her posting a picture with the album’s initials or some shit.
I feel about Taylor the same as I feel about Ryan Murphy. The writing isn’t that great, they aren’t the gifted talents they think they are, and someone desperately needs to start telling them no.
