hermetic principles are seven
foundational metaphysical ideas said to
have originated from the book The
cabalian that was published in 1908 when
I found these laws I got so excited
because I knew that they would help me
ground some of my practices the first
principle is the law of mentalism the
law of mentalism states that all is mind
which means that everything that has
happened has started from in the mind
and directed outwards this really speaks
to the idea that we are creators the
universe and everyone in it is mental in
nature one defining your goals clearly
in mind two regularly visualizing your
success to create a strong mental image
three using affirmations to reaffirm
your beliefs and four controlling your
reactions to stay aligned with your goal
regardless of setbacks we’ve barely
touched the surface on this law and if
