please welcome Jennifer Lopez when JLo stopped by Jimmy Kim live on Monday night to promote her new movie Atlas which starts streaming on Netflix on Friday media Outlets were at ready to report on any comment Jennifer made in regards to her marriage to Ben Affleck in the midst of the separation rumors asking me to look at my engagement ring at the time that Ben had given me years ago that was the only mention of Ben in the interview which came when Jennifer was telling the story of when she met Barbara strand back when bennifer was engaged the first time around in 2002 ‘s like E News ran with it because it was something at least but on Wednesday the Instagram account for the TV show I’m G screw this up agu elasia posted this video from the atlas press conference that took place in Mexico City been AFF is Real This these rumors okay we’re not doing that well is it you know better than that that’s like getting scolded by your favorite teacher you know better than that like just shaming you it’s cutting now yes JLo didn’t exactly answer the question I don’t think that was you know better than that than to think those rumors are true I think you know better than that than to ask that question in this forum now here’s what I’ll say about this whole situation if there was absolutely no truth to the rumors I’m surprised that Jennifer didn’t use the Kimmel platform to shut them down there would have been talks beforehand whether or not Jennifer wanted to be asked about the rumors and obviously the answer was no because yeah Kimel didn’t ask about it you um you know I don’t know if you’re aware of this but you become one of those people those famous people that other famous people tell stories about meeting so that might mean there’s some truth to them but at the same time if there wasn’t Tru to them then bennifer wouldn’t have staged the photo op that they did on Sunday where they’re together smiling and Jennifer was holding flowers 10 the 47 day drought of no photos of them together and I believe that’s how this divorce or separation talk got started in the first place yeah someone noticed that there had been no photos of them together in 47 days so that’s how this started you know the ball started rolling on this and look there’s been rumors of them getting divorced or separated from the moment they got engaged again then there was the headline they were living apart last week but everyone seems to be ignoring the thing that I pointed out on May 10th which had nothing to do with their marriage is that Jil was working her ass off this year well I just finished a movie called Kiss of the Spider Woman where it was all singing and dancing and everything so which was exhilarating equal parts exhilarating and exhausting on May 10th Jennifer revealed on Live with Kelly Mark that she’d wrapped shooting the movie musical Kiss of the Spiderwoman shooting had only begun on March 21st that’s about 6 weeks that’s insane like I said in that piece that’s insane for moving musical to shoot that fast the only way to pull that off would be to have yeah insanely long days like full-time commitment to shooting that so that meant and they shot New Jersey so that meant Jayla was in New Jersey for those 6 weeks Jayla was in New Jersey Ben was a producer on the film so I’m sure he was there at some point as well yeah that’s why there’s no pop arsty photos of them in La for those 47 days cuz she was in New Jersey shooting like movie musical all the time and with the shoot being that fast that meant the rehearsal process was intense and extensive so you got to account for at least two to three weeks there was a rehearsal process for that so that takes us back to February 29th February 27th was when the last part of this is me now project came out and of course she did an extensive press tour from that so yeah JLo basically went from the promo tour for this is me now right into prep for kiss the spider Moon we’re shooting that for the last 6 weeks as soon as that movie finished shooting she did the junk it for Atlas on May 5th then was the Met Galla coach here May 6 there’s a dinner that I have to go to tomorrow night there is a somewhat of a rehearsal of some sort that I don’t know anything about so I’m going to discover it along with everybody else then we promo frat lless I get back actually after this whole trip to kind of like go straight into rehearsal from now until the first show which I think is the end of June and that tour starts June 26 yeah Jennifer’s busy instead of spending her free time that she has with Ben know they really have to work and Stage this photo up on Sunday that they’re with flowers and stuff like that and smiling with each other so it pleases the people that didn’t see a photo of them together for 47 days it’s crazy like I mean there’s tons of celebrity couples out there they we don’t see photograph together for months if not years and no one starts saying oh they must be separated because we haven’t seen them on the street together in 47 days I know people been coming for JLo all year um and I don’t really know why and obviously this rumor yeah just kind kind of got in out of control and maybe there’s some truth through it obviously every marriage is going to have their issues um but yeah it’s just like the fact that they have had give to the internet and go stages photo op when jenifer’s just been insanely busy like I mean it’s almost like a punishment for a woman working that hard and being that busy is that oh we haven’t seen you with her husband so it must being this problems in your marriage like come on anyways that’s my rant thoughts you know better than that come on
