This is a good example of reading the article before commenting because I read the attached headline earlier and I was like “my girl is being weird again” as I thought he meant she wanted to surprise drop in theatres but this is something else.

Basically, Taylor and her team were allowed to announce her concert film on her own terms while the media got ahold of Beyoncés concert film release and announced it before she and her team could.

Couldn’t blow Taylor’s secret but it was okay to blow Beyoncé’s secret? I would be offended if I was Beyoncé.
If other theater chains were mad at AMC for keeping Taylor’s film a secret still wasn’t fair to Beyoncé to use news about her film to placate them. AMC knew there was a chance it would leak to the media.
