[Music] hello everybody my name is lukar and this is hotland mode and today on hotland mode we are coming to you with your okure Celebrity Fashion roast review listen there’s been a lot going on in my little world some personal stuff I won’t get too deep into it but things have been jammed up so the thing is I am in the process of writing the okure reviews but in the meantime I wanted to get into some of the celebrity looks cuz I feel like those are also rather important I think they’re really intriguing to me always and also it’s always just fun to look at celebrities and their cloths without further Ado we’re going to be breaking down some of the looks from the oor shows sit tight sit ready because we’re going to do a video about Vogue World we’re going to react to we’re going to get into it I might be mean about it who knows and we’re also going to be getting into the O cure shows in a pretty lackluster season or at least a more minimal season but first let’s talk about these celebrities first up we have ail Lavine now ail has been out and about during the fashion weeks as of late and she is wearing an ears van herpin look first things first if you didn’t know ears herbin did a whole collection and by a whole collection I mean like five looks that were like part dress part wall art I’ve still yet to break it down in my head so I don’t really understand but I do like ail going for it here I feel like this is the usual sort of spiral exoskeleton laser printing 3D cut or 3D printing laser cut sort of style that she does I love the high collar on her I love the way that that sort of Helix shape creates an excess at the waist but she’s also wearing this sort of shorter skirt that has movement it has this Motif running through the shoes maybe a little odd choice not for Avil per se but I think for the look it’s a little bit more heightened and a little less hey hey you you I don’t like your girlfriend no way no way think you need a new shoe overall I do like the outfit don’t love the accessorization G next up we have klette just very chic very Armani pre I love this jumpsuit this deep plunging V really really works for her I like the wrapping of this Harley Quinn Crystal Andor sequin I think it’s a crystal but I can’t really tell the sort of wrapping of these panels that come in and sort of create an exaggerated shape because the way that they are sort of folded on top of the pant but also just the fact that it creates a little bit of a shiny Edge to it I don’t normally love a jacket off of the shoulder you know what I mean like I think it sometimes can be a little bit too I take myself too seriously but like C Blanchette doesn’t take herself too seriously I feel like in anything yet I take her so seriously and so she’s pulling it off to me I just think it’s like a Chic jumpsuit it’s a hot way of taking on the suit that jumps and I am going to jump into the suit very very enthusiastically next up we have tli XCX she’s wearing Balenciaga now this is a sort of button-down Oxford shirt that’s been turned into a halterneck dress this is something that demna did quite a while ago at Blen siaga if we go all the way back to 2018 we can remember that Blen siaga collection where there was sort of like a t-shirt that the person would wear and then there was another shirt sort of sewn on top that sort of fell over and so it looked like the shirt was falling off of the person but there really was a shirt attached very conceptual I’m also going to say like very Marella and I think now having done a little bit more marela research I’m not saying that I’m an expert I’m not I do feel less enthused by demna work like these kind of things much more than I ever did before I do find that it’s pretty much just a margel ISM that we’re calling a Balenciaga ISM and I’m I’m bored I’ll be honest I I just think I’ve hit my Balenciaga threshold because it just feels very stagnant and I’m going to be hot taking right now and we’ll talk about it during the okore review as well stagnant alador Al Chanel that’s how stagnant I feel like we are I think this works for Charlie she’s in her brat summer I really am very team Charlie right now I think she really is killing it and doing a great job and I think this look actually works really really well in her I just think the look itself isn’t my favorite personally has nothing to do with her it’s just I’m souring I’m the Mean Girls I’m having a 180 on Bago next up let’s talk about DOA cat now DOA showed up to scaparelli and she wore this multi pedal jacket Blazer it’s really quite big it’s quite bold it has these big sort of 40 shoulders to it I love the texture of it I think that it’s actually kind of perfectly DOA and at the same time I think that the dress underneath with the exposed boning and the skirt the sort of mini skirt that also is very much so clingy and fitted I think it all kind of works it has like this weird 80s 40s feeling which is something that I think Daniel was going for in the collection and I like the shaw lapel I love the excess of the texture I love the excess of the size I think it all works I think that the hat is also rather Majestic like scapelli was very conceptual very surrealist and so when you look at a lot of her headwear there were things like a bowl of grapes or a shoe hat that are very iconic and I love the idea of the Hat this little cap here having a cattail on it I think it’s just that perfect DOA catness doas done very very of on guard over the top looks for scaer shows in the past I think that this is kind of the the perfect way to Tamp that down we came off of a really sort of big red bulbous fiery situation for the last time that DOA attended the scapelli okure show and I feel like this feels a little bit more the exact opposite of what she normally does or what we expect from her which has been something she said at least for this most recent mgala this is like my thing I want to do the exact opposite of what I did before and so I think this is falling in line with that I think she looks really Chic really Regal really fun really quirky and yet at the same time very understanding of what she’s trying to go for I love now we do have doic cat again this time in a Dior look interesting and it is funny to me because I just don’t think of dojat and Dior really working together but I do think that maybe if this is gior and doat starting to work together we can get some really interesting oour looks for doic cat in the future so like I’m going to keep my fingers crossed really crossed I might not be able to uncross them but this offthe shoulder shirt situation is fine the pant wide leg situation also like fine I guess the only interesting thing to me really though is this hat it feels very handmaid’s tail which could be Maria Gracia ISM I feel like she’s very much anti-h handmaids tail in the sense of like women empowerment which I’m going to be completely honest babe I get it we’re we’re finally sinking up and so that to me feels a little bit like what we’re we’re getting at here but also at the same time I don’t know I’m not really sure I’m not completely sold on this partnership yet but I’m hoping that we can get to somewhere where if this does continue it will be very delightful and fun for everybody involved next up we have Emma Chamberlain she is wearing Tom Brown listen I love an Emma Chamberlain Tom Brown collaboration I love this multi- cheer board D cuz Tom Brown Show in Paris we’re going to call it D moment of green and the vest is yellow and the shorts or the skirt is blue I think it’s cute and quirky I love the fact that there’s this tromp ly bow tie it’s it’s very Tom it’s very fun and it also feels like somewhat appropriate for the weather it’s hot in July in Paris you know what I mean like the girls don’t love AC over there I love the socks I love the bag I love the shoes I think it all feels very Tom but also kind of young I think the styling makes a lot of sense I think that even like the hair makeup all that stuff really plays into it well I’m sold and then we saw Emma in the jeul gotier look now this is pretty much exactly or not exactly but semi exactly what we were looking at with Charlie I think goate has a different feel to it I mean to be completely honest if we think about marello who did marello work for jeul go so like I don’t think that go sort of copying marel I feel like Marella might have gotten a little bit of something something from a little bit of goate also I feel like I can’t think of exactly a collection but I am sure there’s 100% a collection where jeul gotier was putting a shirt as a strappy top or something along these lines it doesn’t feel out of bounds for goate as a brand and that’s why I think it’s in freaking and that’s why I do see it correlating to that Charlie look we were just looking at but still the other thing that I think is quite Chic is the way that at least the top lines up with the gloves or at least where Emma is placing the gloves like they obviously must have thought about it because it looks like her little hands are coming out of the shirt and I think that’s funny I think that’s smart it’s understanding how to sell the Garment I appreciate it the pants fine totally Good Very Ki which another thing is Nicola defle who is the crib director of K did do the jle go oor collection this season so that’s why I also find it really intriguing to see the K bag there very smart very fun the pants feel very Ki the shirt in general also feels like quite minimal in that regard and we’ll talk about that as well when we get into the goate review but it’s just an interesting take on goate to me and I like Emma being as of late a goate muse and sort of letting herself be a part of the world of gotier and there’s so much World there you know what I mean so much World building it’s like the George or our Martin of fashion it makes sense to be able to play into all these different angles niches and nooks and crannies next up we have Griff who is wearing Chanel now Griff is a young singer and songwriter performer if you don’t know but the thing that I find so interesting about this look is I don’t really feel that Virginia VR at least for the okur show had the sort of dressing control that she did over celebrities now that she’s no longer at Chanel that she did when she was and I feel like it’s lightened the load for the most part for the Chanel looks throughout this video I love this little look I think the drop waist works I think that the big sort of frr skirt also is rather Chic and cute I love the styling of like the pushed up sleeves with The Gingham even the deage sort of area being sequined and embellished I think it’s lovely I like the shoes I like the socks like it feels styled rather than cut and dry like it has normally straight Off The Runway for the past 5 years and there just seems to be a lightness about this that I don’t think that we’ve been getting from Chanel for a hot minute and again I’m not trying to like dog pile on for Jenny whatever like she left I get it you know I appreciated her service a few of those Chanel shows they worked out pretty well in my favor I do think that things seem a little bit different and it’s going to be really interesting to see where Chanel goes you know in the next few months but I like this a lot next up we have Jennifer Lopez here’s the thing she’s wearing Dior so M but what I will also say is I don’t really mind the top that much from the waist up I don’t hate it I think that it’s rather intriguing I think it’s kind of sculptural I like the the neckline aspect I don’t even mind the asymmetry like I think it works I think what then loses me is everything else the belt whatever fine I don’t really care it’s obviously in like a trench coat material I I see where we’re going with it I don’t think it’s bad I think that the skirt it’s a little too like pazo pant for me pazo Capri pant for me and I don’t I don’t enjoy and then I don’t really understand the glove situation I just think it’s really heavy and weird for like a trench coat material the bag is fine obviously like we’re pushing the lady Dior bag whatever do your thing I don’t mind the shoe again fine I get it I see where it’s coming from the sunglasses I love like I think it has a very Windswept getting off a plane sort of feeling to I just I the glove I just don’t really comprehend and again the skirt is a little offputting to me maybe it’s the St I don’t really know but confused somebody check on her wellbeing next we have G Su who’s also wearing Dior she is one of the brand ambassadors and she’s wearing one of the looks from the most recent Cruise collection in Scotland if you didn’t see our cruise review should go check it out it was pretty good we got into all the looks historical hazardous Highland experience that went on at D here’s my thing about this look when I first saw I was like GH like chain mail why not just do real chain mail I do think that Anie Su actually looks quite a bit better the shoulders kind of work I think that the silhouette works I think the belt is still most definitely unnecessary 100% I do think the butterfly moth floral embroidery throughout also kind of tracks I think the boots are okay the Argo socks maybe not necessary the bag is very sweet and Chic and I quite like it the boots again totally fine I get it I do think it’s always interesting to see the difference between on the runway versus Off The Runway and I think in this case I can stand corrected it works here next up we have Jody Turner Smith who is wearing Tom Brown I love I think this is the smartest way to go about doing a sort of Tom brownie look especially in like Tweeds I think that this bodysuit is incredibly smart and the fact that it has the Trump ly of a tie and a collar is brilliant and smart and fun and funky and cute and Chic and also like weather appropriate it’s hot as balls over there I bet you $5 I think the sh very Tom Brown I like the bouay of it all I think it’s rather different Tom I feel like also was like put me in the Chanel ring I also love the off-the-shoulder jacket situation I think it’s cool I think the shoes are great I love the high socks I love the bag there’s a lot of tweetin going on here and like again we haven’t really had the conversation about Chanel on this channel who it would be and where it could be there’s a lot of big contenders and I do think when I think about who really could I think handle the commercial and also creative elements of it I do think Tom is somebody that could do it I really really really really really truly do I think he uses Tweed quite often in his work and it’s an impeccable thing that he does the accessories also the shoes the bags those are really good when it came to Carl’s work he understood how to make things that people wanted to buy and the funny thing about Tom that I always think about too is well actually I’ll talk about that all this later but long story short Tom could be a contender I don’t know if he will be but he could be he should be and I like this look on Jody next up we have Katy Perry and Katie has been doing this new fashion era I don’t know I don’t hate it necessarily she’s wearing Balenciaga this big coat that she’s wearing it looks like it’s fur I don’t know if it’s fur at this point I can’t really tell I feel like in fashion we’re just playing the game of is it fashion or is it cake I don’t know what it’s made up of it could be like I don’t know a baboon’s ass hair coat jacket it could be I don’t know microorganisms hand pleated into fine thin strips of hair it could be anything I don’t know the ri knife boots are intriguing it’s something different from demna and again I think that’s my issue with demna General is doesn’t do enough of this stuff like he’ll just send out the same over and over and over again whereas even if you just tweak things a little you we can get behind it I I can try I can attempt I can work at it but like there’s not enough of this sort of playing on and theming this the brand Staples in my opinion and so it just feels so repetitive and the thing is I look at the the finer details and I feel still pretty repetitive even though I know it’s not the exact same so how can you expect the audience to feel like it’s not repetitive overall though I do find this new Katie era intriguing I don’t hate it if this is what she wants to do do it I don’t think it’s like Radical by any means but like I’m intrigued to see where it goes next up we have Kieran nightly Chanel girle 100% I like to see it again again remnants of virgin’s work the sheer top with this little smocked embellished style underneath and then a big skirt again it does feel a little less heavy and chunky and dumpy like it used to styling wise like there’s no stocking that you just to wear I don’t know if I need like the neck ruffle thing sorry I almost threw up there just you know I saw it and I said but I don’t know that it’s always required and I guess going forward hopefully it won’t be but I do think it feels a little less constricting I do think it’s again just a strange dress to be completely like the bathing suit top with the shirt over and then the it is like just kind of weird but like it’s somewhat better than what I’m used to so I’m going to move along swiftly next up we have Carrie Washington who is wearing Balenciaga I kind of like it stck shoulders I like the fact that she’s wearing a sweater even though I bet she’s sweating her ass off and so I appreciate you doing that I do love the skirt I think it’s rather sweet I think it’s just like good product and I don’t know it feels very 80s Chic corporate lady I’ll take it again maybe this was a look more suited for January but okay and next up we have Kylie now Kylie is wearing scaparelli this is a custom look and it is in my opinion pretty much based off of what we saw on the runway it’s this sort of idea of the sheer corid exposing of boning it’s a pink crystallized dress all the way through she’s wearing some sort of like High sock I think CU it’s definitely not a slip it looks like it’s like a high pink sock I don’t really know if those were necessary maybe they were I don’t know but I do think they throw it off just a little bit I do love the sort of Cloudy silk Cape I think that’s really Chic really beautiful continues this idea of what Daniel was doing early early early on at scaparelli where he had these sort of big roughly cloudy sort of styles I love it it looks like a big pink comforter and I’m going to be completely honest I would love to wear my comforter out and about as an outfit I think it’s fun to to drape around your body I think it’s fun to make out your own little outfits out of them so I don’t mind that at all the face mask yeah but again I don’t know I do like the fact that we can see her face and it looks like she’s being covered by a very sheer trash bag but wasn’t necessary I’m unsure but I guess gapi is a brand that’s about headwear as well so I’ll take it but overall it’s fine by me works next up we have Lena mauf Lena situations if you don’t know listen I like this I think as far as Dior goes it’s pretty simple pretty easy kind of commercial but I also think that again this idea of like The Styling does sort of bring it up a little bit more I do think that the idea of no sort of clear shirt underneath does work it makes a little bit younger the idea of The Frayed hems also gives a little bit of youthfulness and fun I also think the fishnets are very Maria graia but I think they work in this regard overall you know she looks beautiful and it is very Maria graia Dior without making me hate it so we stand as per usual next up we have Michelle yo who’s wearing Balenciaga I feel like she looks like she’s going out for an audition in The Matrix and I’ll be honest if it was me as the casting director I would give her the role I don’t know I don’t hate it I don’t really love it I think again it might be a little bit sweaty but I don’t think Balenciaga really car that much considering it was July I do think that Michelle yo understands how to carry herself self very very well she looks Chic it works she gets how to play the character am I obsessed with it no but again I don’t hate it so like we’re going to take it next up we have Nicole Kidman who’s also wearing Balenciaga listen it’s a black sequin dress has a short little sleeve I don’t think there’s too much to it I do think it’s beautiful I think it fits her really really well I think the sequins look nice but again is it memorable is it something want to think about later no and I think that’s also a little bit of an issue I think it’s great for you know if you want to wear Balenciaga or and you want to wear the yure and you want to know that it fits yeah absolutely again I think commercially it VI I think it would be enticing to customers but at the same time not completely jazzed by it so I get it but also I’m a little bored next up we have Roseman Pike who is wearing Dior the dress I don’t completely hate it I do think it’s a bit Blobby it’s a bit Shifty I do think the sequin swags or the bugle bead swags may be a little cut up trash baggy I’ll be honest I do see it I do think I understand it I think my big issue really is the shoe situation I think the sock with the pump is a little hard it doesn’t really give the grace to allow The Fringe to to Fringe super well although again I just think looking at it more and more it doesn’t Fringe super duper well it’s a little clunky and dumpy it’s just like big strips big thick strips and I don’t think that those always work I don’t really mind the sleeve I think it’s actually quite sweet I don’t really mind the bodice all that much the silhouette could be fine it’s just the strips and then with the shoes they just they matte together in that area and it doesn’t feel clean and classic and easy next up we have Serena Williams who is wearing Tom Brown I like it I do a I think it’s a fun Tom look I do think that the Ombre of this sort of plaid in the jacket is rather cool I think that the shirt and the top it works I love the little corset with Hector on it Hector the dog that’s Tom Brown’s and Andrew Walton’s dog I like the matching of the skirt with the bag it all feels very Hector esque I don’t love the shoe and say that maybe that’s my one issue with the look is the shoe I don’t think goes all that well but I like this red and white feeling to the actual clothing elements I think that’s fun I think it’s intriguing I think it’s different I think it’s youthful and exciting and I like that for Serena cuz she is a fashioned girl next up we’ve SE him kapor and she is wearing Dior I’m gonna say listen it’s very Amelia airheart esque you know this little leather flight jacket with the shearling on the collar the skirt I don’t really understand personally I don’t really understand the gray with the brown I love the shirt and the tie with it very fun very cool it feels like we’re also getting a lot of shirts and ties lately and not just from Dior it feels a little Tom brownes also when I look at the shoes I don’t know but what I will say is the skirt may be like a brown skirt maybe a white skirt maybe something a little not gray like that with the the fraying or maybe a pant maybe a hot pant something different because I I don’t think it all clicks and finally we have your salt she’s wearing Dior I don’t mind this I’ll be honest I think that it fits in with this whole short thing that we’ve been getting and I like the fact that it’s a jacket double breasted I like the fact that we have the vest I like the fact that we have the shirt and the tie and the short I think it works I think it’s fun the shoe F by me the Dior bag F by me I like it I think it fits in with what we’ve been seeing and again clean concise easy understandable I’m sold so that is the end of this video I hope you guys enjoyed let’s talk about best and worst all right best I’m going to give it to I think I’m going to give it to doic cat in scaparelli jod Turner Smith I loved I’m going to go to G and Dior I actually thought that worked really really well I’m going to give it capelan cette as for worst oh Roseman Pike didn’t love that I feel like splitting hairs here to be honest so don’t take these ones too seriously I’m going to put sonm kapor just cuz I didn’t like the skirt I’m going to put oh Jennifer Lopez Dior yeah okay that’s that we’re done I hope you guys enjoyed I will see you guys on the next video and T you why
