Did you know Elizabeth Olsen hated Scarlet Witch’s portrayal in Doctor Strange?
After Wanda Maximoff had come to peace with herself following the finale of WandaVision, Olsen stated she was not a fan of the way the writers of Multiverse of Madness reverted her to a cartoonish villain!
Because the writers of the film were not allowed to watch WandaVision before writing, they did not know how to really write the character for her villainous debut, and several rewrites were issued amid filming!
Olsen was somewhat present throughout the writing process, providing tidbits of information about Wanda’s character in WandaVision to influence her role in Doctor Strange!
But ultimately, she did not like the end result of her character.

Now all they have to do is do some type of magical spell or something to separate the scarlet which from her so they can make it clear that they are two different entities

Except her vision of what happened at the end of Wandavision completely negates the end of Wandavision.
At the end of Wandavision you clearly see her using the drakhold to find her children in another universe where they actually exist, which directly leads to her role in Dr Strange 2.
Where ahe found that universe and was going to either go there and kill the Wanda from that universe or kidnap the children and take them back to the main MCU universe.
Yes she feels regret to the peope she hurt during Wandavision but that doesnt mean she will stop at finding her children and since her powers increased and using the darkhold corrupted her, her role in Dr Strange 2 was fitting.
Nobody did. That movie is the reason the mcu isn't doing as well as it used to be. Wanda was set up for a great arc, and they ruined it with plain stupidity.

That’s how Disney has been operating post endgame and after Disney + started.
Yeah that was stupid to not let them watch Wanda Vision so they could learn about the character. I did think it was odd that Wanda came back as this evil villain after all she went through.
Why would they not be able to watch Wandavision? That's what made the MCU successful in the first place was everything connecting and growing. Wanda went from working for the bad in Ultron to becoming and avenger and probably the strongest avenger at one point being able to take on Thanos alone, to a mom and holding a town hostage, to accepting who and what she was and back to a villain. Hopefully we haven't seen the last of wanda.
Didn't watch Wanda Vision so I liked it.
I was really impressed with her performance nonetheless.

Omg, and I just loved her acting as a villain.
She should keep it mind that this other version of scarlet witch is just another alternate version from the multiverse. That character can be considered a version that walked a different path and lived a different life that left her far more bitter until she became evil in comparison to the Wanda we’re familiar with. That’s one of the great things about the multiverse which will allow the actors to explore more complex possibilities regarding how the characters can be portrayed. Not to mention how the studios can expand the actor pool and have different actors portray familiar characters just like with the Disney series Loki and Deadpool versus Wolverine.
Because they knew scarlet witch was so overpowered she outshown the avengers that were left after endgame.
Just another prime example of Disney cant let writers work, and never see a decent script when its right infront of them…due to studio interfering. Namely the executives..
Star Wars, MCU…almost every cartoon in the last 5+years flop after flop.
Wanda's character had plenty of room to bring her back, Disney nar just kill her off. Or straight faze out..
