She absolutely was the loveliest, sweetest comedic actress. She just brought a tear to my eye. How sad she could not overcome her childhood trauma and was exploited by so many selfish unscrupulous men. She was a very smart, dedicated actress who truly researched, developed and studied her roles. She was a true beauty ✨inside and out on screen. RIP 🌹
Honestly, I don't understand the new hype around Marilyn Monroe. She is a classic beauty, that's for sure. But I think she just seems stupid and childish in her acting. I don't see anything elegant or worthwhile in it. I would prefer that women who have intelligent things to say would be treated with equal admiration
Marilyn Monroe was not just Mexican, but she spoke many different languages. Notice how she was terrible at acting like she didn't know how to wear a tiara? She is pure class
How the lady wearing black called her "lovie". Thats the word thsts been used rarely nowadays in movies. Now its all darling, love, idiot, fvck, @sshole etc. 😑
The more I think about it, Harley Quinn is literally modeled after Marilyn Monroe. Unfortunately, she gives women a bad reputation and also makes people believe that men have absolutely no control over themselves and believe that women are beneath them and act like children. Marilyn Monroe literally acted like a child. This is pretty disgusting.
What I liked about this movie is that it portrayed a supportive friendship between two beautiful and talented women without portraying them as catty, jealous rivals.

I just love Jane Russell she's so smart beautiful and talented, talk about the full package 🎉🎉🎉
She was a shallow human being who only wanted mayerial gain. Beautiful ,but nothing in her noggin. What a shame.
Ms Monroe was a special creature
Reminds me of Rapunzel
I feel like she did that just because she wanted someone to put the tiara in her head as if she was a princess
I just love new places to wear diamonds’
Good thing she never went to Thailand…..😎
I think Norma Varde was the housekeeper in"The Sound of Music."
Who is this actress beside Marilyn? Her acting is so natural❤
More like she wanted her to put it on her head so she acted stupid.
These two in the film are giving the same energy as bea arthur and lucille ball in mame
And to think the character in the original novel is a pretentious ditz but Monroe makes her totally likable and not as ditzy as you think
"I just love finding new places to wear diamonds" Iconic❤
Rapunzel 💛
Lorelei straight up fooled everybody, even the folks watching the film were fooled. lol

Her name was Norma Varden – a great classically trained character actress.

The eyes❤
Sounding like beloved “I see her diamonds down there “ 😅😅
Ahah
Is she the real life short hair Rapunzel
It's giving a little bit Rapunzel vibe
In Russian, this excerpt from the movie sounds gorgeous. Find it on YouTube and listen to it, I think you'll like it :Р

Wonderfull Jane Russell ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think rapunzel is a kind a model of Marilyn Monroe's
I think Marilyn tricked the lady into placing her own Tiara on Marilyn's head.
I just love her addiction to diamonds.

No wonder JFK went gaga. Put Jackie beside her and you'd know the reason why.
Just like Rapunzel
So Tangled took inspiration from this scene when Rapunzel was trying on the tiara!
She so did that on purpose
They were friends Jane and Arlene Dahl.
Tiara doesn’t go all the way around. A crown goes all the way around.
