Kinda funny, but it's more likely that you're talking to ur future self, not to your past self.
Time traveling into the past contradicts the fundamental laws of physics for example the causality. Causality basically is Action → reaction. For example if you have a mirror, you can't have a broken mirror until the mirror is broken.
Action is breaking the mirror
Reaction is the mirror is broken
You can't have a reaction without an action
You can't have a broken mirror without breaking a mirror
