Elin is the mother and wife Tiger regrets losing because of his multiple affairs. Her hug was nothing more than showing respect to Charlie's dad for supporting him. Tiger was trying to say, "I would do anything to have you back."

Been a long time since they been together and they have kids so being adults is the very normal responsible way to be!!!
Elin lost out big time, Tiger cheated, and now the kids are more with him, so she, in a way lost the kids for no good reason. Funny how life works.

He was hanging out with the wrong people during that time, Jordan, Barkley, Shaq, all had failed marriages being rich athletes, they took Tiger into the gutter with them. Most golfers have succesful relationships and stay out of the light, Tiger was in the spot light he had no idea who was shinning the light in his eyes.
